Minimum wage in the security industry

The industry-specific minimum wage for security guards, usually set by collective agreement and often graded by activity and federal state.

As a rule, an industry-specific minimum wage applies in the security industry and may exceed the general statutory minimum wage. It is set by collective agreement and is often graded by activity, for example basic site guarding versus dedicated guarding, and sometimes by federal state.

For cost calculation, this means that the correct hourly rate depends on the activity. The appropriate rates must apply automatically in payroll, otherwise underpayments and subsequent claims may result.

Balerion Security takes care of exactly that.

Scheduling, ArbZG checks, guard logs and payroll exports in one system, specifically for security services.
