Guarding a site with a guard assigned permanently and exclusively to that site, the counterpart to a mobile patrol service.
Dedicated guarding means guarding a single site with a permanently assigned guard who works exclusively there. It offers maximum presence and local knowledge but requires more staff and is therefore more expensive than a mobile patrol service.
Dedicated guarding is typical when protection needs are high or the client requires a permanent presence, for example at reception or for plant security. For scheduling, this means fixed shift sequences at one site, with the usual requirements for rest periods and allowances.
