Inventory and Equipment

An item has a name, category, total quantity and note. There are six categories: uniform, protective equipment, key, vehicle, company phone and other. These six categories are fixed.

Items are issued to a security officer with a quantity and returned with a return note. There is also a history and two CSV exports.

Issued and available quantities are never stored. They are calculated on every request. This prevents the stock figures from diverging.

If there is not enough stock, the issue is rejected. An item with an open issue cannot be deleted, nor can a security officer with equipment that has not been returned.

Under "My equipment", security officers see all items currently issued to them, with category, quantity and issue date, on iPhone and Android.

Limit: Read only. Items cannot be returned through the app. The scheduling team handles returns in the Cockpit.
