Fire Safety Assistant
Employees who take initial action in the event of a fire and support evacuation, often an additional qualification in security services.
Fire safety assistants are trained to fight incipient fires, use fire extinguishers correctly and support an evacuation. Employers must appoint a sufficient number of them.
This qualification is often required in the security industry because security personnel are already permanently present at the site. For dispatchers, it is one of the qualifications, like the Sachkunde under § 34a, that should be recorded for each employee with an expiry date.
