Escape and Rescue Routes
Routes that must be kept clear so people can leave a building, a standard checkpoint during patrols.
Escape and rescue routes must be clear and usable at all times. Obstructed corridors, locked emergency exits or missing signs are typical defects that should be noticed during an inspection patrol.
For security services, checking them is therefore a recurring task. Any defect found belongs in the security log with a timestamp and ideally a photo.
