Wächterkontrollsystem (WKS)

A system that proves patrols and control points were actually completed on time, now using QR or NFC instead of a mechanical time clock.

A Wächterkontrollsystem (WKS), or guard tour system, provides evidence that a patrol was completed as agreed. Historically, this was done with mechanical control clocks into which a key was inserted at each control point. Today, QR or NFC control points perform this function, scanned by the guard with a smartphone.

The benefit is twofold:

  • Proof for the client and the insurer that sites were checked completely, with a timestamp for each control point.
  • Real-time control: If a scheduled patrol is missed, it is noticed immediately rather than only in the monthly report.

Modern systems connect the WKS with patrol schedules, photographic evidence of defects and a report that the client can view directly. This turns a simple record of checks into an instrument for quality and transparency.

Balerion Security takes care of exactly that.

Scheduling, ArbZG checks, guard logs and payroll exports in one system, specifically for security services.
