Qualifications and § 34a
Seven qualifications, nine document types and a check that strictly blocks scheduling.
The seven qualifications
Unterrichtung under § 34a, Sachkunde under § 34a, GSSK, Service, Waffensachkunde, Ersthelfer and Brandschutzhelfer. This list is the only source. The Cockpit and apps derive their data from it.
Checks during scheduling
Before every assignment, a shared gate checks: active status, qualification, site block, absence, double booking and Arbeitszeitgesetz.
The qualification check is a strict block. There is no warning-only route. If the required qualification is missing, the assignment is rejected with a list of what is missing. The scheduling team can override only double bookings and Arbeitszeitgesetz, never qualifications.

§ 34a status
For each security officer, the system continuously calculates whether they comply with § 34a. It checks in this order: not listed in the Bewacherregister, register entry expired, no Sachkundenachweis, Sachkundenachweis expired. The most recently uploaded certificate is always used. A missing expiry date means "does not expire".
The status is never stored. It is recalculated on every request. A newly uploaded certificate therefore takes effect immediately.
Important limitation: The related scheduling block is off by default. Even when enabled, it applies only to the automatic suggestion pool and only to shifts that require Sachkunde. The scheduling team can still assign a non-compliant security officer manually. You need to know this if you intend to rely on the block.
Certificates and deadlines
There are nine document types, including Sachkunde, first aid, Waffensachkunde, an erweitertes Führungszeugnis, meaning an enhanced certificate of good conduct, a work permit, a residence permit and an employment contract.
In the profile, the Cockpit shows which qualifications are supported by a certificate and which deadlines are becoming critical, with a warning horizon of 60 days.
Limit: Only three qualifications have an assigned certificate type at all: Sachkunde, Waffensachkunde and Ersthelfer. Unterrichtung, GSSK, Service and Brandschutzhelfer appear neither as documented nor as missing.
For reporting to the Bewacherregister, there is a CSV and XLSX export, plus a service ID card as a PDF. Both are restricted to the owner.
