Reliability Check
The official check of whether a person is reliable enough for security duties, a prerequisite for registration in the Bewacherregister.
Before a security guard is deployed, the competent authority checks their reliability. This is based on information from the Bundeszentralregister and, depending on the activity, a standard inquiry with the domestic intelligence authority. If the result is negative, the person may not be deployed as a security guard.
The result is recorded in the Bewacherregister. For dispatchers, it is therefore a deployment criterion just like the qualification itself: no assignment without a positive status.
