The Bewachungsverordnung (BewachV) specifies the requirements of § 34a Gewerbeordnung for the security industry. Among other matters, it governs mandatory liability insurance, the guard ID card, service instructions, staff Unterrichtung or Sachkundeprüfung, and registration in the Bewacherregister.
For operations, this primarily means complete records. A company that deploys a guard must be able to prove that person's qualification, reliability check and ID at any time.
