Importing Data

Data import is locked twice: it must be enabled both in general and for your company. Both are off by default, and there is deliberately no menu item for it.

Contact us if you want to import data. We will enable it and assist with the first run.

1. Upload. CSV, Excel, or PDF, up to five files of no more than 10 MB each. Consent to processing is required.
2. Analyze. The files are structured in the background.
3. Review. Every suggestion is accepted, rejected, or corrected first, one at a time. Nothing is imported without review.
4. Import. Actual records are created only at this stage.

Uploading, analyzing, and reviewing are free of charge. Only the import incurs a one-time fee.

Security officers and orders are created. Customers and sites are created from the information in the order. Existing ones are either reused or new ones are created.

Shifts are not imported. Detected shifts do appear as suggestions, but are placed in the skipped list with a reason during import. The reason is that shifts are created from the order. Otherwise, they would be duplicated.

At the end, you can see how many security officers, customers, sites, and orders were created and what was skipped. A second run does not create any duplicates.
