Supervisory Patrols
The supervisory team visits sites and documents what they find. External supervision, not self-monitoring.
Requirements
- Sites with shifts today
- Role with access to supervisory patrols
Distinction from guard patrols
The two areas are regularly confused, but they have nothing to do with each other:
- Guard patrols are self-monitoring. During their shift, the security officer scans checkpoints by QR or NFC. See there.
- Supervisory patrols are external supervision. A supervisor visits the site and checks it.
Separate views, separate data.
The process
The stop list shows sites with shifts today. "Optimize route" calculates a practical driving order. The sorting options "Overdue first" and "Never inspected" are also available.
Four items are checked for each site:
- Staffing on site as planned
- Appearance and equipment
- Service instructions followed
- Guard logbook kept properly
You can also add a defect description and up to 10 photos. The route can be passed to Google Maps or Apple Maps. The limit is 9 intermediate destinations, while Apple Maps allows only one destination. If the route is truncated, the interface tells you.

Defects and resolution
An open defect is a report that has not yet been resolved and in which at least one of the four items was not satisfactory. A report without a defect cannot be resolved.
Reports are only appended, never changed. The only subsequent change is resolving the report, and this can be done exactly once. The process only moves in one direction, from open to resolved, never back.
The person who recorded the report is always determined from the sign-in.
