Site Manager
Plans and manages assigned sites without access to personnel, customers, or finances.
What the role can do
The site manager is a scheduler with fewer permissions. The role plans and staffs shifts, carries out guard monitoring and patrols, manages deployment clearances for assigned sites, reads reports, and sees employee master data in read-only mode.
The role uses the same screens as the scheduler. There is no separate view.

What the role lacks compared with the scheduler
The site manager has significantly fewer permissions than the scheduler. These include the inability to change employee data and to access customers, quality processes, communications to security officers, inventory, subcontractors, invoicing basics, the AI replacement agent, and the support mailbox.
The role cannot see payroll in any form and cannot close a month.
Role and units belong together
The role determines what someone can do. You define separately which sites, orders, and security officers this applies to through the organizational units in the user record.
Both steps are required. Never assign a site manager role without assigning the units at the same time. Otherwise, the person works across the entire company. After creating the user, check once from that person's perspective which sites are visible in the list.
In addition, records without a unit remain visible to everyone. Therefore, also assign existing sites to a unit when introducing the module. The site manager sees the plan approval status for the entire company, not just for assigned units.
