Shift Marketplace and Self-Scheduling
Offer open shifts to security officers and let them claim the shifts themselves. The first to accept gets the shift.
Post to the marketplace
In a shift's inspector, use "Post to marketplace" for either everyone or a range of 10, 25 or 50 kilometers around the site. The shift changes from "open" to "marketplace", and eligible security officers receive an offer.
You can use the toolbar to post several shifts in one operation, up to 200 at a time. If one shift fails, it is reported as skipped with a reason and does not block the others.
"Remove from marketplace" returns the shift to open and withdraws all offers.

Who sees which shifts
The server strictly narrows the list for security officers. A shift is visible only if it is on the marketplace, is not a draft, has not yet expired, either requires no qualification or its required qualification matches the officer, and there is no site block for that officer.
There is deliberately no radius filter in the app, so festivals and travel assignments remain visible. You control the reach when publishing.
Claiming shifts, first come first served
The first eligible security officer to claim the shift gets it. If several officers try at the same time, exactly one assignment is guaranteed. Everyone else is told that the shift has already been assigned. Simultaneous claims cannot create a double assignment.
The full rule gate also applies here. There is no override when an officer claims a shift. Double bookings and Arbeitszeitgesetz are strict blocks.
Offers and their validity period
An offer is valid for a limited time and then expires automatically. If you want to staff a shift more quickly, remove it from the marketplace and assign it directly.
When someone accepts, the sibling offers for the same shift expire automatically.
