Collective Agreement Regions

Companies operating across federal state borders do not pay the same rates everywhere. Collective agreement regions keep the rates separate and dated.

Requirements

  • Owner role

Creating and assigning regions

Settings, Payroll section, Collective agreement regions card, then "Create collective agreement region". A region has a name, an optional federal state and an Active switch.

Assignments are made in two places: on the security officer and on the site. For each region, the card shows how many assignments are linked to it.

The location of the assignment takes precedence. If a collective agreement region is set on the site, it applies even if the security officer is assigned to another one.

Dated rates

Rates are maintained for each region with a "Valid from" date. A rate without an activity is the base rate. A rate with an activity applies only to that activity.

Because the rates are dated, you can enter a collective agreement increase in advance. It applies automatically from its effective date.

There can be only one rate for the same activity and date. The last rate in an assigned region cannot be deleted because the assignment would otherwise have no price.

Where payroll gets its rate

Each row in the payroll preview shows the source: collective agreement with name and validity date, activity rate or contractual wage.

If the individually agreed wage is below the applicable collective agreement rate, the notice "Individual wage is below the applicable collective agreement rate" appears. The calculation still uses the stored value. The notice is not a substitute for a review. It only shows that someone should check it.

The preview identifies the source of the rate for each row.
